Not So B&W: Kris “Foxen”

Humans doing earthly things to me is just existing in the massively complicated web of life. There’s an interconnected and collaborative nature about humans that’s been intrinsically part of us. There’s something that makes us bond so heavily with each other over something like food, art, or culture. When we create, our collective experiences and life are put into little things to be shared with others, I feel like that’s a human thing.

Sometimes you can point to a thing or a moment that resonates with you, and say “this is how I feel”. Something like a bite of food, a nostalgic smell, the way the sun shines through the clouds, things that just evoke feelings that you can’t explain with words. It’s beautiful when we get to be present and fully experience things with our body, mind, and soul. So often we worry about the future, regret things in the past, and it’s hard to truly be present.

Being human is experiencing these moments, memories we’ve build-up for ourselves with people we love, things we love, and doing things we love. Being able to impact others by giving these things to others is such a powerful thing that we can do as humans. Regardless if it’s writing a letter to your grandma or making a piece of art that creates a literal cultural shift, each impact can reach so deep because of how connected we all are.

In whatever capacity or power I can, I want to impact as much as I can. I want to share how I feel, share what I hear and see and hope that whatever it is, it can resonate with others, and I hope that in turn they will go on to share what they feel and experience and impact others in their ways.
